Ayana launches exclusive residences on Bali

Ayana Residences Bali has officially been launched after a ground-breaking on the 6.5 hectare site adjacent to the Ayana Resort and Spa.

The gated community will consist of a limited number of luxury apartments and villas within the 77-hectare AYANA grounds spread along a 1.3 kilometer coastline just 10 kilometers from the airport. With the development scheduled for completion in 2014, the low-density design offers the largest living space of any luxury residences in Bali.

The Magnolia CEO said that because of its size and its location, the project would also help pump life into the city and re-energize Bangkok.

Bali’s fuel prices rise with property market

The Jakarta Post recently reported that Bali’s government disclosed a plan to increase the price of subsidized fuel by Rp$1,500 (US16 cents) to Rp$ 6,000 (US 65 cents) as of April 1.

Although a final decision has not been announced property prices have already begun rising. Real Estate Indonesia’s (REI) Bali branch chairman Dewa Putu Selawa said property prices have increased 15 per cent on average since early March.
