Tourist numbers on the rise for Da Nang
Statistics provided by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism show that visitor numbers to Da Nang saw a dramatic increase in the first quarter of 2012. On both q-0-q (31.9 per cent) and y-o-y (35 per cent) the number of tourists visiting Da Nang rose to almost 590,000 in the first quarter of 2012.

The Land Registration and Statistics Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has reported that 299 foreign expatriates and non-resident Vietnamese have bought houses in Vietnam.
Grade A office rents 2.4 per cent
A press release from CBRE Vietnam stated that while Grade A office rents continued to slip in the first quarter of 2012, it is expected that rents are approaching a short term bottom with an anticipated delay in future supply.
Vietnamese HCMC suggests developing smaller apartments
As development in Vietnam progresses, the HCMC Real Estate Association has suggested building 20 to 70 square metre apartments in residential areas reported Tuoitre News.
HoREA chairman, Le Hoang Chau stated that building these smaller apartments is the best direction to head especially with the urban planning of each locality.
