Japanese Embassy in Thailand sold to Boon Rawd Brewery

Colliers Thailand has announced the sale of the former Embassy of Japan to Singha Property Development and Max Future Co, both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Boon Rawd Brewery which produces Thailand's famous Singha Beer.

The prime site at the intersection of New Petchaburi and Asoke roads covers 8 rai 3 ngan 13 square wah and was sold for THB520,000 (US$17,032) per square wah.

No comment was made on what plans Boon Rawd has in store for the site.
