Thailand’s first CENTURY 21 franchise opens in Bangkok

by News Desk

The first Thai franchise of the world’s largest residential real-estate sales organisation, US-based CENTURY 21 International, has opened in Bangkok and expects sales of Bt3-4 billion in the first year of operations.

Kitisak Jampathip-phong, CEO of CENTURY 21 Realty Affiliates (Thailand), said his company would provide complete real-estate services, including sales, investment and management, both locally and internationally.

"Our franchise owner, CENTURY 21 International, will bring in the technology and know-how that will allow us to implement services |in Thailand. This will include its network and database exchanges with other Century 21 offices worldwide," he said.

With more than 8,500 independently owned and operated offices worldwide, CENTURY 21 already has a strong presence in Asia, including Japan (800 offices), Hong Kong (300) and China (over 1,000).
Kitisak said he hopes CENTURY 21 will become one of Thailand´s top three real-estate agencies within two years in terms.

CENTURY 21 was established in 1971 in California. It later expanded to Canada, the European Union, Latin America and Asia. The organisation currently counts more than 8,500 franchised brokers in 64 countries worldwide.
In 2008, CENTURY 21 granted more than 400 new franchises outside of the US, signing master franchise agreements in seven countries, including Angola, Albania, Brazil, Czech Republic, India, Serbia and Montenegro. Currently, more than 50 percent of CENTURY 21 offices are outside of the United States.
